TyN will bring the largest team of journalists to MWC in Barcelona

(TyN from Spain) GSMA confirmed the list of exhibitors who will give lectures from February 24 to 27 at the most important technology event worldwide. CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, president of IBM, Virginia Rometty, CEO of WhatsApp, Jam Koum and executive director of the Bitcoin Foundation, Jon Matonis, are among the most prominent.

CEOs of Alcatel-Lucent, America Movil, AT&T, Cisco, Citigroup and EMC will also take part in this international event.

In its 2014 edition, Mobile World Congress (MWC) anticipates more visitors and a greater economic impact in Barcelona’s metropolitan area. John Hoffman, president of GSMA and director of MWC, said they expect to receive some 75,000 visitors, about 3,000 more than the previous year, and that the event will bring more than EUR 340 million to the local economy (compared to EUR 327 million in its 2013 edition).

As every year, TyN Magazine will be covering everything that happens at MWC. Seven of its journalists will be in Barcelona to show you the key trends and announcements of the world’s biggest IT event.

In addition, from now until March 15, we will be presenting you with the latest news from companies and institutions at the congress that showcases the main players of the global technology market. Are you going to miss it?
